COVID-19 Update

We are working hard with our partners to address the needs of all Union Savings members that have been directly affected by COVID-19. Call centres are experiencing a high volume of calls and higher wait times but be assured that all member inquiries will be addressed as soon as possible.

This page will be updated regularly as we continue to monitor any closures or cancellations that affect our members.

Great Wolf Lodge - Niagara Falls

For bookings made from March 15 to April 1, Great Wolf Lodge is automatically cancelling bookings and will provide a full refund. Please note, it may take up to 7-10 days before Great Wolf Lodge is able to process all refunds.
For bookings from April 2 to April 17, members are eligible to move their booking deposit to a later date up through November 18, 2020.

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada

Ripley’s Aquarium has relaxed their cancellation policy due to COVID-19 concerns.
Anytime tickets are valid for a full year from date of purchase. If Anytime tickets are close to expiring Members, can apply for a refund or a date extension.
Timed tickets, Jazz Night and Sharks after Dark tickets will be extended for another date or time up to December 31, 2020. Member can also apply for a refund.

Travel Insurance

ATI Travel Insurance

For ATI Travel Insurance policy holders, in a medical emergency situation members need to contact AXA Assistance Centre toll free in USA or Canada at 1-866-783-9473 or call collect at 514-285-8195. Members will need to have ready the policy holder’s name, the injured/ill individual’s name, location, details of the emergency, information on the hospital and treating physician, along with their your Assistance Identification Number - 427W and policy number - 1NU10. Individuals who are out of the country and left their province of residence prior to March 12 2020 are covered for all medical expenses relating to the virus. Individuals that left after March 12th or who will be leaving shortly will not be covered for the virus as it is no longer deemed to be an unknown event.

RBC Travel Insurance

For RBC Travel Insurance policy holders, in a medical emergency situation members need to contact Assured Assistance Inc. (AAI) toll free in USA or Canada at 1-800-387-2487 or call collect at 905-816-2561. Members will need to have ready the policy holder’s name, the injured/ill individual’s name, location and details of the emergency. RBC Travel Insurance will not cover any medical claim related to COVID-19/Coronavirus if you travel anywhere outside of Canada effective March 13, 2020 at 5:30pm (EST). If you are at your destination and left Canada before the travel advisory was issued, you may be covered under Emergency medical insurance if you contract COVID-19/Coronavirus.
Any Trip Cancellation/Interruption claim related to COVID-19/Coronavirus will not be payable if the policy was purchased on or after March 13, 2020 5:30PM (EST).
